Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were a Russian and Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent of German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. At the age of 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance which led to an appearance on German TV appearance. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. After graduating of New York's top high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. In high school, she attended acting classes at HB but left for improv in Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. At the age of 13, her parents divorced and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
